On behalf of Liebherr, we are supporting the assembly of a tower crane in Cotonou with one of our engineers at the beginning of November 2023.
LIEBHERR crane dismantling
Location: Bonny Island, Nigeria

Before we could start disassembly according to OEM specifications, we inspected both cranes. In the process, we discovered faults that we first had to rectify. Once the hoist, the trolley and the slewing gear were running smoothly, we could begin the actual task of dismantling them.
With the help of a autocrane, we then dismantled the two pieces of equipment and prepared them for removal. Below are a few pictures from this operation.

Maintenance Liebherr Crane
Location: Offshore Gulf of Guinea, Nigeria
Crane: Liebherr BOS 4200-50D
Three engineers from our team are offshore for several weeks on an FPSO to replace 264 hydraulic hoses. The video shows a small part of these lines in the crane’s engine room.
It is also nice that one of our colleagues can even smile.

Liebherr Tower Crane Installation
Location: Bonny Island, Nigeria
Crane: 6T Liebherr tower crane 125 EC-B
In May 2022, IPESL procured and supplied a 6T Liebherr tower crane 125 EC-B to NLNG. Installation of the tower crane took place in December 2022 at NLNG Jetty 2, Bonny. The individual parts arrived in three 40ft container and was offloaded and assembled on site by some of IPESL engineers with support from the manufacturer expert service engineer.
The existing tower crane Liebherr 112 EC-H 6 was successfully dismantled and the newly assembled tower crane 125 EC-B was installed and commissioned.
